As part of the Candidate Assessment System for those pursuing teacher certification, grades in C I/Sp Ed courses must be at least a “C” minimum. In addition, candidates can have no “Unacceptables” on the Performance Assessments and no more than two “Marginally Acceptables.” A third “Marginal Acceptable” will mean that the candidate will not be allowed to further progress in teacher education until they go back to retake one of the courses with the “Marginally Acceptable” and have it changed to “Acceptable.”
