George AndrewsMiller Distinguished Lecturer relaxes with grad students

Don't let the smiles and boxes of pizza fool you. Grad students took serious advantage of this tasty opportunity to quiz Dr. George Andrews about all sorts of things ranging from his experiences of being a graduate student to expanding on details of tidbits gleaned from his presentations about Indian genius Ramanujan.

Photogenic graduate students

Whoo-hoo!!! Around 40 Mathematics graduate students participated in the 14-Minute Photo Challenge (which ended up being a little more like the 23-Minute Photo Challenge...) last week and we were able to capture a number of images for future use. Here, students work on spelling out M A T H. Thanks to all who participated.
