Sprague UG Resource Room dedication
Carver 400 is looking pretty spiffy these days.
On Friday, May 1, members of the Richard Sprague family will dedicate this space as the new Richard Sprague Undergraduate Math Majors Resource Room.
For the past several weeks, staff members and students (several graduate and two undergraduate) have been fitting in a few hours of painting, scraping, moving and cleaning between their regular duties.
The move more than doubles the space availble in the former RSUMMR room. Carver 495 is being repurposed into a computer/printer room for faculty members and graudate students. Access will be via your 400 key; pay no attention to what looks like a combination lock.
MORE 2009
The MORE team travels to Bettendorf on May 18 for the next Mathematics On the Road Experience.
Surplus furniture
Check out the miscellaneous furniture In the hallway by 449 Carver. If anyone from the Math Department needs something here for their office, they may take it or swap it out. All pieces must remain in the department; however, anything that remains by 449 by Friday, May 8 will be put on the list to go to surplus.
