Sprague UG Resource Room dedication

 

Catherine Klein (Richard Sprague's niece) and her husband, James, visit with undergraduate mathematics majors Amelia Tuel and Kevin Moss. Tuel and Moss spent several hours helping paint and prepare the Richard Sprague UG Resource Room for opening.

Robert Sprage (Richard Sprague's brother) shares family photographs with Wolfgang Kliemann and Jan Nyhus while Catherine Klein smiles at family stories.

Faculty members, graduate and undergraduate students, staff and other guests celebrated the opening of the newly relocated Richard Sprague Undergraduate Mathematics Majors Resource Room to 400 Carver on Friday, May 1.

Thursday, May 7: Ji-Hyeok Choi (above, right) PhD Preliminary Exam 10 a.m. in 390 Carver Hall. Major Professor: Maria Axenovich.

 

Mathematics Advisory Board activities

A small group of faculty members will welcome members of our Mathematics Advisory Board on Thursday evening. The Board will meet on Friday morning and participate in the Awards ceremony on Friday afternoon.

 

Honors and Awards program

Please join us on F riday, May 8 in Carver 101 at 2:15 p.m. to celebrate departmental honors and awards. There will be a reception following in Auditorium Lobby.

The MORE team travels to Bettendorf on May 18 for the next Mathematics On the Road Experience.
