Ahmed and Kleiman receive peer awards
Last week t he Graduate and Professional Student Senate announced its peer research and teaching awards for Fall 2007. Recipients Haseena Ahmed (research) and Elizabeth Kleiman (teaching) joined other honorees at a ceremony where they were given a certificate and a $200 cash prize.
High School Math Contest
An anticipated 150-200 high school students are expected to participate in the departmental math contest on Saturday, December 8. Proctors are needed from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. This is a great recruiting tool. Please contact Elgin Johnston to volunteer.

Remember to conduct your final course evaluations this week; they are due on Friday.
